Join the Mississauga-Erin Mills all-candidates debate on May 11th, from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm to hear your candidates speak on the issues most relevant to your community.

HOW TO TUNE IN

When registering for the event, you’ll notice two types of tickets – in-person & online.

In-Person: The debate will take place at the University of Toronto Mississauga Campus, KN 137. In-person seating is limited so please ensure your attendance if registering for in-person tickets.

Online: The debate will also be streamed live online via Zoom. If registering for online tickets, you will be emailed a link to join shortly before the event.

WHY DEBATES?

Debates are a crucial way to engage in our democracy and make sure our elected officials know what matters to voters if they want to represent our communities. They are often seen as defining moments in elections and can put community issues onto candidates’ agendas at a time when it matters most.

ON Debates is a project coordinated by GreenPAC. Over the past two federal elections, GreenPAC has helped community groups organize all-candidates debates that over 32,000 Canadians tuned into. Ahead of the 2022 Ontario General Election, GreenPAC is partnering with communities in key ridings to once again organize debates in order to facilitate dialogue between candidates and voters.
