Driving conditions could be challenging
Driving through Mississauga and Brampton could be difficult Wednesday, Dec. 18 morning as Environment Canada has issued a snow squall warning for the area.
The agency said a “brief but intense snowfall” is moving through the area. Visibility will rapidly reduce as a result of blowing snow, and it may be suddenly reduced to near zero at times where there is heavy and/or blowing snow.
In addition to the warning, the Weather Network anticipates temperatures dropping to -13 C in Mississauga and Brampton by Wednesday night. It could feel like -22 C with the wind chill.
