Coldest Night of the Year on 22 Feb 2020

What is the Coldest Night of the Year?

Join us on Saturday February 22nd for the chance to support the annual Coldest Night of the Year by encouraging walkers on route and helping throughout the event.

The Coldest Night of the Year is on Saturday, February 22, 2020. CNOY is a family-friendly national walk-a-thon that helps you raise funds for charities that serve hungry, homeless and hurting people in your town, and in 136 communities across Canada.

Who is the Community Organization we partner with?

The Dam Youth Drop In Centre

“When Eddy ended up on the streets of Toronto 24 years ago, there wasn’t a Dam for him to get the help when he needed it most. The worst part about being homeless is not just wondering where you’ll sleep at night, but also the instability and chaos that it causes in everyday life. Since 1995, the Dam has been creating a sense of belonging, community and more importantly a sense of home, not just for youth like Eddy, but for all youth coming of age in this overwhelming digital age.

Our Mission is partnering with Mississauga’s youth to create an inclusive community where all are welcomed, valued and respected. Our Vision is a community of youth empowered by discovering their worth, enabling them to grow and thrive in our community.”
