Join us this Monday, September 19th, for an evening discussion on the technophilosophy of virtual and augmented reality. A panel of leading thinkers will explore the social and ethical implications of emerging VR and AR technologies.

Technophilosophy asks philosophical questions about technology and uses to technology to answer traditional philosophical questions. The September Soiree Series will hold an annual event that will connect the public with a panel of leading thinkers on virtual reality technologies from a variety of disciplines, including history, philosophy, computer science, design, human-computer interaction, religion, and others. The event will be held at the Isabel Bader Theatre on Victoria College at the University of Toronto, right next to the IHPST’s location in Old Victoria College.
